Complete stereo upgrade kit to install a single or double din aftermarket radio in a 2008 - 2015 Skoda Superb with original Swing or Bolero radios and retain the use of the original steering wheel audio control buttons.

This head unit fitting kit includes:
-Fascia adapter panels (50-689 and 50-395)
-Radio adapter cable (49-VW-01)
-CANbus steering wheel control interface (part of 49-VW-01)
-Universal patch lead for steering control interface (49-025)
-Antenna adapter cable (21-140)

This fitting kit comes with two separate fascias, the 50-395 mounts the new aftermarket radio into the dashboard and the 50-689 finishes off the installation filling out the gaps between the 50-395 and the rest of the dashboard.

The 50-395 fascia can be used to fit a single or a double din aftermarket radio, it gives a tidy flush mount finish. The fascia is supplied with side mounting brackets so no additional radio fitting cage is required.

The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation.
This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source, mute and phone buttons.
The CANbus interface will also provide a key present ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs.

A key present ignition means the stereo will turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.

A universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering control interface to the steering control input of Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.

A double Fakra to DIN antenna adapter is included in the kit. This adapts from the original antenna connector in the car to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection.
