The legendary BRAX MATRIX speaker series - which has been synonymous with sound quality at the very highest level since the very beginning - is now being completed with the ML10 SUB. Developed and manufactured just as uncompromisingly as all BRAX loudspeakers, this subwoofer is also the acoustic benchmark against which it is measured.

Perfection meets maximum flexibility

With the ML10 SUB it is easier than ever to achieve extremely dry and maximum controlled bass reproduction, because the use of the new 2 x 2 ohm double voice coil results in significantly greater control flexibility. The separate voice coils with the four solid connection terminals allow three different configurations - 1 x 4 ohms, 2 x 2 ohms or 1 x 1 ohm total impedance with a massive 1,200 watt maximum load are thus possible. 

MicroSphere - the perfect synthesis of weight and stiffness

One of the secrets of the BRAX ML10 SUB is hidden in its unique membrane, or more precisely in its "MicroSphere" coating. It gives the hand-made cone a maximum of acoustic precision for incomparable reproduction. With this patented technology, hollow ceramic microspheres are combined with a Diameter of only 75 µm integrated in a polymer layer and applied to the membrane. This special coating not only increases the rigidity of the membrane, but also its internal damping. However, these stabilizing measures do not go hand in hand with an increase in the moving mass. Compared to others The membrane is even lighter in subwoofers, which not only allows for a lower overall quality, but also increases the impulse response again.

Its extremely linear drive magnet with precisely turned pole plates for minimal distortion, the large, multi-ventilated voice coil for maximum electrical resilience and the streamlined and stable die-cast basket are the guarantors for uncompromising bass reproduction at the highest level. Of course, this extraordinary subwoofer is also delivered in an elegant wooden box and has its own serial number, which is recorded in a service database.
