Complete fitting kit to install a double DIN head unit and retain the original steering wheel controls in a BMW 1 Series with original automatic climate controls.

This kit is for 2007 onward facelift models, earlier pre facelift models do not have space for a double din unit.

This kit includes:
-Fascia
-Steering wheel control interface
-Universal patch lead
-Antenna adapter

Kit features
Double din fascia adapter, this fascia has side fixing brackets so no additional cage kit is required.
CANbus steering control interface to retain the original audio control buttons. This interface also generates a CAN ignition and speed pulse, handbrake and reverse gear outputs.
Universal patch lead.
Fakra to DIN antenna adapter.

ORIGINAL PLASTIC PARTS IN THE CAR WILL NEED TO BE CUT AWAY FOR THIS KIT TO FIT. 3 HOURS NEEDED. NOT FOR DIY.

NOTE: Some cars with start/stop technology may require an additional voltage stabiliser to prevent the radio turning off when the engine restarts.
