Complete stereo upgrade kit to install a double DIN aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in a 2015 onward Toyota Avensis or 2018 onwards Land Cruiser with original basic radio.

This head unit fitting kit includes:
-Double DIN side fixing fascia brackets (50-282)
-Antenna adapter cable (21-147)
-Steering wheel control interface (29-695)
-Universal patch lead for steering control interface (29-025)

This radio upgrade fitting kit is for 2015 onward Toyota Avensis and 2018 onward Toyota Land Cruiser cars with original basic original stereos.

This stereo upgrade fitting kit includes a radio replacement fascia adapter panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket double DIN car radio upgrade.

The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. These two side fixing brackets bolt directly on to the new stereo, use the original metal brackets in the car to mount the new stereo.

A steering wheel control interface and radio adapter cable is also included. The cable adapts from the Toyota style connectors in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors.

This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.

The steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation.

The interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons.

A universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering control interface to the steering control input of Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony and Chinese head units.

An antenna adapter cable is also included, this cable adapts from the Toyota antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket male DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. The Toyota connector is rectangular with a round antenna terminal inside. The antenna adapter has a loose blue wire, this needs to be connected to the antenna turn on output on the new stereo.

This will turn on the original antenna amplifier in the car.

NOTE: This kit is for cars with non amplified audio systems, if the car has an amplifier additional adapters may be required or the amplifier may need to be bypassed.
