This dump valve is a truly remarkable valve that gives a combination of vent to air AND recirculation operation at the same time.
It has been specifically designed for many turbo engined cars that use metered air flow electronics.
What this actually means is that you get all the noise of a vent to air dump valve AND recirculation to prevent the engine management system from having issues with boost and air flow levels.
This valve uses a unique piston along with a variable spring preload incorporating a ratchet type top adjuster that will allow for the positive and precise adjustment to match the valve to your engine.
This is achieved by using a unique single, conical, progressive rate spring that can allow for the retention of boost pressure over a wide range of adjustments.
This unique spring design also allows for unrestrictive piston travel and flow volume regardless of the amount of pre-load adjustment added to the spring.
Inlet size - 25mm
Outlet size - 25mm
25mm is used on a wide variety of engines including the popular Volkswagen / Audi / Seat / Skoda 1.8 20v Turbo engines
Adjustable valve settings will allow if needed either full recirculating mode OR full vent to air mode
Please note this valve is supplied 'as-is' plus a 25mm blanking plug but is sold as a universal fitment item, no fitting instructions are included
