Lifetime Warranty
From the 25th November 2024 we are introducing a new concept of Device Lifetime Warranty.
BikeTrac's Lifetime Warranty will remain active for as long as the BikeTrac unit is registered to the original customer and has uninterrupted subscription *
During the first three years, the warranty will cover a replacement unit and installation costs. After three years, the warranty will only cover the cost of replacing a faulty unit.
A customer may move their original BikeTrac unit from bike to bike without affecting the warranty as long as it has a valid subscription applied.
If the BikeTrac unit is sold, the warranty cannot be transfered to the new owner.
* A discretionary subscription payment holiday of up to 3 months may be considered when the original unit is being moved from an exisiting bike to a new one.
Theft Response Team
In cooperation with Securitas, BikeTrac is able to offer a 'Response Service', in the event of Police being unable to attend a theft in good time. This nationwide service enables an SIA accredited operative to visit the location and secure the stolen vehicle.
BikeTrac is the only tracker to offer this extra level of protection making sure your vehicle is secured once found, if the police can't attend in a timely fashion.
How It Works
All tracking products rely on the Police being able to attend, with the general Police cutbacks and more vehicles now using tracking technology, there are occasions where Police are unable to attend as quickly as we would hope.
Partnership with SECURITAS
Nationwide coverage, all staff are SIA accredited and DBS checked. They do not have any special powers like the Police, but they are able to attend when the Police cannot, and they can secure the vehicle. This can only be actioned if the vehicle is on public land/highway. If the vehicle is on private property we will still need to liaise with the Police directly. Who are SECURITAS?
RF - Recovery
When RF is required - Should Police or Securitas be unable to pinpoint the exact location of the vehicle due to there being a number of garages, containers or buildings we will then deploy our team to use the RF feature that will allow us to pinpoint to within a metre and identify the door the vehicle is behind and allow Police if required, to obtain a Warrant. Without this Police will not be able to proceed.
How does it work & Installation
While BikeTrac is primarily a security-tracking device, there are many additional features and functions that you will have access to via our web based dashboard, or our app, available on Android & iOS.
Keeping your vehicle secure
Below is an outline of our process should the unthinkable happen.
- If the vehicle is moved for a short duration without the ignition, being turned ON.
- An alert is raised and our SOC (Secure Operating Centre) is immediately notified.
- You will recieve a call, along with an automatic text, email and push notification (if you have the app installed).
- Should you confirm it is a theft, we'll begin actively tracking your vehicle while you call the Police and obtain a crime reference number.
- Provide the SOC with the crime reference number, and we will do the rest.
In addition only the BikeTrac comes with...
- You can see where your vehicle is 24/7 via APP and web portal.
- View your journeys. These are downloadable as a GPX format.
- If your battery voltage drops below your defined threshold, we'll send you an alert.
- You can disable alerts temporarily if the asset is being transported or at the dealers.
- The unit can be transferred from vehicle to vehicle or sold on. However, when selling the unit subscriptions are non-transferable.
- You have the flexibility to control all of these features within the web based dashboard or the mobile app.
BikeTrac Installation
All authorised BikeTrac dealers are trained to ensure that your unit is installed in the most covert location possible, giving the best levels of protection and adhering to Thatcham's high security standards - it's essential.
We recommend that installation of the tracker is performed by a reputable installer one that is familiar with our product and an authorised dealer. You may find that if you are having a tracker fitted because your insurance company has insisted on one they will require an official installation certificate stamped by the dealer/installer.

Recognised by Insurers
We are a Thatcham S7 accredited tracking product. This means that our products have been independently tested by Thatcham, who are funded by the insurers and our accredited product is recognised by the insurance industry and may attract a premium discount of between 5% - 15%.

- Cat 1 = Alarm and Immobiliser
- Cat 2 = Immobiliser only
- Cat 2.1 = Alarm Upgrade, upgrade means immobiliser connected to Alarm
- Cat 3 = No longer available
- Cat 4 = Locking Wheel Nuts
- S5 = Stolen Vehicle Recovery Tracking; Driver ID, 24/7 Monitored SOC Real time tracking, GPS Tracking ONLY or RF - Radio Frequency / VHF Vehicle motion detection, GSM / GPRS, Roaming Sim, Battery backup and Resistance attack for a minimum 2 minutes.
- S7 = Stolen Vehicle Recovery Tracking; 24/7 Monitored SOC Real time tracking, GPS Tracking ONLY or RF - Radio Frequency / VHF Vehicle motion detection, GSM / GPRS, Roaming Sim, Battery backup and Resistance attack for a minimum 2 minutes.
The ONLY difference between the S5 and S7; S5 comes with Driver ID (a fob).
24/7 Real Time Monitoring
Once you have registered your BikeTrac unit you have total control. You can manage your device settings, notifications, view journeys and more. Our Secure Operations Centre (SOC) will actively monitor your device 24/7 and will contact you should the unthinkable happen.

GPS & RF Tracking
Multi-channel Technology
Radio Frequency (RF) tracking allows us to find your asset in the places other trackers can’t or obtain search warrants quicker! This technique, in combination with our other technology gives you the ultimate level of protection and is also what gives us the insurance industry approved S7 rating.
Radio Frequency Tracking (RF)
BikeTrac uses GPS mainly which gives accuracy down to 3-5 metres. If your vehicle is stolen and ends up in a parade of garages, containers or a van, GPS devices would only be able to show rough location. Here, BikeTrac can use RF (Radio Frequency) which allows us to locate down to 1 metre in garages, this is accurate enough to gain a search warrant.
