Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a single or double din aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel controls and original amplifier in a Volvo V70 2000 - 2005 car.

This head unit fitting kit includes:
-Fascia adapter panel (50-961)
-Steering control interface (39-VOL-02)
-Volvo to ISO radio adapter cables (part of 39-VOL-02)
-Phono amplifier adapter cables (part of 39-VOL-02)
-Volvo to DIN antenna adapter (21-104)

This fitting kit is supplied with a fascia adapter, suitable for single and double din aftermarket stereos.

The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.

This fascia come with its own mounting brackets and radio housing, no additional cage is needed. The fascia gives a flush mount finish. Use the supplied pocket if installing a single din radio.

A Volvo to ISO radio adapter cable with built in steering wheel control interface is also supplied in the kit. The cable adapts from the green and grey Volvo connectors in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors.

A phono to 6 pin DIN adapter is also included to provide audio to the original amplifier in the car.

This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation.

This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio.

The interface will work the volume, track skip and phone buttons.

The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, reverse gear, handbrake and speed pulse output signals to the new stereo.

This interface is supplied with a universal patch lead. The patch lead links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo.

A Volvo to DIN antenna adapter is also in the kit.

This cable adapts from the grey Volvo antenna connector at the back of the original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.

NOTES:
An additional PDC retention interface is required for cars that have original parking sensors.
